infection quetionFrom: Wendy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 31 Oct 2001 06:40:33 -0600 (CST)
Hi, I'm 34wks. I was wondering if a dr can identify a vaginal infection by doing an internal exam. I saw my dr 2wks ago after having a strange discharge. When she examined me she said I had an infection, but wanted to wait for the culture to come back so she would know how to treat it. I have a lousy lab and it took a week to get the culture back and they said it was normal. I'm concerned about this because of what my dr said about having an infection and now having it go untreated for 2wks. Should I be concerned? Thanks for your time. Wendy
