What I would do is wait a day or two and then test with first morning urine. The line should be darker by then as the pregnancy hormone doubles in early pregnancy every 48-72 hours. I had a lot of cramping earlier in my pregnancy and had nightmares that I would miscarry (still do!) but my dr (and drs on this board) said that menstrual type cramps are copmmon in early pregnancy as the embryo inplants. Pregnansy tests these days are very sensitive and specific, so I doubt that your hormones are playing tricks on you! However, some pregnancy's do end in the very early stages. If you have no bleeding, then take it that all is ok and do another HPT in a day or two. I wish you the best, K
