Requesting more info on pre-ejaculatory fluidFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netWed, 24 Oct 2001 12:24:35 -0500 (CDT)
I have read the archives and other various sites regarding the sperm concentration of pre-ejac fluid...but am finding conflicting opinions on it regarding the amount of sperm and the likelihood of conception from it...am wondering if there had to have been a prior ejactulation for it to contain any sperm, or if it is created in the pre fluid itself? My husband and I have 3 great children already and use condoms as our method of birth control...we did however have foreplay where of course pre-ejacuation fluid was present...the pre-fluid came in contact with my vaginal area and fluids (no penetration..just contact) and am wondering how likely that is that that would/could cause a pregnancy if this occured during my ovulation period. Just wanting to know if it's said that pre-ejac can cause pregnancy because it's a theoretical possibility or if it truly is a genuine concern and should be avoided if pregnancy is not desired? Should a condom be used as soon as erection is achieved? ...thanks in advance!
