Opinions on this 11.5 week ultrasound?From: Abbey (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 24 Oct 2001 00:01:49 -0500 (CDT)
I wasn't able to follow up with my doctor after my ultrasound the other day and, as a result, am driving myself crazy with worry. If you don't mind, please let me know what you think of these ultrasound pictures I've posted on the web: http://www.geocities.com/abbeydesert/ At 11 weeks, 4 days, the CRL was 48 mm and heart rate 168. Does anything stand out as looking weird or wrong or malformed, or is it just too early to tell? I'm especially worried about neural tube defects since I can't make out the baby's spine (horrible visions of raschischisis and anencephaly come to mind...as luck would have it, I'm a first year med student taking embryology right now, so I'm having a REALLY tough time with this!) Thanks so much for any help you can provide. This forum has been a lifesaver!
