I was diagnosed with DVT at 11 weeks pregnant, I've had superficial clots during previous pregnancies, but this is first DVT. I have been put on 120 mg/day of Lovenox for the remainder of the pg and postpartum to 6 weeks.

I was told it would take 3 months for the clot to dissolve(it was below my knee) but am concerned about my risks during that time. I did experience what they believe was a PE, no tests to confirm..but classic symptoms.

I am terrified that I will experience another one, or that another clot could redevelop. What the risks of this happening?
