I am currently 29 weeks pregnant and have started to have completely unbearable back pain.

My OB prescribed percocet (oxycodone). I have read the archives and most say that it is safe for the baby outside of the addiction risk. However, in Sep 1999 Dr. Marchbein said percocet was a 'no-no' during pregnancy.

Believe me I only take the minimum I need to be able to work. Is this drug truly safe?
