2 PUPP Questions (Clobetasol 0.5% cream & Prednisone 20 mg tablets)

I am now in my 37th week of pregnancy and have been on numerous antihistamines and steroid creams and 1 steroid injection to help deal with my itchy rash.

Question: I was wondering what is more likely to have caused my recent symptom changes? The rash is still itchy but outbreak of the patches on my thighs, knees, shins, arms, and eve on my stretch marks are starting to diminish.

Details: I was given a steroid injection at my OB's on Fri., Sept. 28, 2001 and also saw a dermatolgist the same day and was given Triamcinolone 0.01% to apply to my rash patches.

It has now been a little over 2 weeks and after a follow-up visit to the derm, I was prescribed Clobetasol Propionate 0.05% (45 mg tube) and have used it twice a day and have gone through 2 tubes and was also prescribed Prednisone (20 mg tablets to be taken 2 per day for the 1st 4 days and then 1 per day to maintain control over the rash.

Please, any info you can offer would be great! I am curious because my OB and I are considering induction on/around Nov. 1 or 2 if my rash does not improve or significantly worsens. I would be 38+ wks at that time. Is this a safe time to be inducing?

Thanks in advance for your reply.
