I posted earlier about a very small amount of brown staining (basically a thread of brown in my cm) this morning after straining to have a bowel movement, with nothing since. I am starting my 7th wk of pg. My dr said that he does not think bed rest helps at this point - that either the pg will continue or it won't. I've heard others say that their drs recommend that they stay off their feet for a few days. I would be interested in hearing the opinion of some of the docs here. Thanks again, Ally
