I had a cerclage placed at 11wks. Lately my uterus feels tight and hard and this feeling persists several hours at a time. At my last internal exam, doc said suture looks fine' and I am still long and closed (they don't do vaginal u/s here) They also don't use tocolytics. I am getting worried that these long sessions of uterine tightness are harming my baby,and are changing my cervix. Going for an appt. in two days. ex. today my uterus felt tight begin ning around 4 am--it is now 3:15pm and I've only had a few moments where the uterus loosened and relaxed. what should i do?
