My son acqired beta strep within hours after delivery. He was in intensive care for two weeks afterward. He fully recovered and is now three years old. He has been suffering from reflux for the past year and the symptoms seem to be worsening with treatment instead of improving. We have seen several doctors and specailists and all seem to be very intereested in his battle with beta strep as an infant. Is there any connection between beta strep and gastrenterological problems such as this?
