Re: HCG testing?

I was wondering about that too. I asked this question a few months ago and a Dr. replied that usually HCG levels are taken only when there is a suspected problem with a pregnancy or the mother has had miscarriages or other problems with previous pregnancies. She said doing this testing routinely (which apparantly some doctors do) often just causes more worry and anxiety than its really worth. I've learned all doctors are different. Some will see you and do scans as early as six or seven weeks, some don't even want to see you until the end of the first trimenster. Good luck.
