Can a laparoscopy, HSG, hysteroscopy, and Provera (all one week) throw off cycle? From: AM (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 6 Oct 2001 18:45:08 -0500 (CDT)
I'm confused. Two weeks ago, right before ovulation, I had a HSG, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and was taking Provera since cycle day 2 to decrease my endometrial lining for the surgery. Well, my period should have arrived yesterday or today but instead I am having a lot of fertile EWCM-- stretches about six inches. I have also been having pains that feel like ovulatory pains. 1. Is it possible that all of the procedures above (and the associated stress) could have delayed ovulation for two weeks? Unfortunately I haven't been charting because I was told I am not to ttc this month. 2. If I am ovulating right now would it be advisable not to ttc because of these recent procedures (i.e. non-adequate lining for implantation, etc.)? Thanks so much. This is really weird.
