Aspirin and Fertility

I've been trying to figure out why some say taking a low dose of baby aspirin will improve fertility and chances of conception. I came across this report on the INCIID website:

----------------------------------------- The research on this aspect of aspirin and infertility has yielded ----------------------------------------- positive to mixed results. Several studies have shown improved results

--
-----------------------------------------
for pregnancy rates, endometrial thickness, and follicle development.
However, in most studies, patients were not classified in terms of APA
(Antiphospholipid antibodies) status, which leaves the effect of aspirin
on the general population less clear. Thus, at this point, the results
have been promising, but are not as definitive as those associated with
APA.

-----------------------------------------

I haven't had a chance yet to talk to my RE about this, but am wondering ----------------------------------------- what the doctors of this forum think about this. My initial reaction ----------------------------------------- was that taking aspirin certainly couldn't hurt, but can it?
