Leila, Spotting can indicate the potential for a miscarriage, but on the other hand many pregnancies have spotting and go on to do just fine. The source of the bleeding can be many different things. The only way to get reassurance is an ultrasound and even then seeing a normal pregnancy doesn't preclude the possibility of a future miscarriage... Lynn
