Diarrhea is really not that common during pregnancy. The hormones associated with pregnancy tend to slow smooth muscle activity and thus slow the bowel, so constipation is much more common. I believe I would ask for an evaluation by a physician who knows bowel issues-either an internist or gastroenterologist... Lynn
