For all the Pregnant ladies with Hip Pain!!!!From: Katt (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 3 Oct 2001 13:37:13 -0500 (CDT)
I had to share this. I am just starting week 37 and for the past month or so, I have had the worst hip pain from sleeping on my side. I would wake up every hour with my hip throbbing, and would have to switch to the other side. As you can imagine, I got ZERO sleep. Well I got on the internet, as I know hip pain is a very common complaint and I figured maybe I could find some help. Well every one suggests sleeping with a pillow between your legs...and I'm like "yeah, I do that already" BUT then I read that the size of the pillow makes a difference. So I gave it a try. I put a super duper thick and firm pillow between my legs. And the first night, my hips didn't hurt and I slept SO WONDEFUL!! But I thought it might be a fluke. But it's been over a week and everynight I have slept so good. Only waking up once, maybe twice a night. So I had to share. The thicker the pillow the better. I was getting pretty depressed about the pain and not sleeping, and now I feel so wonderful! Good luck, and I hope it works for you!!!
