'Chemical pregnancy' - now whatFrom: Rose (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 1 Oct 2001 21:36:35 -0500 (CDT)
I was told today that I have a chemical pregnancy. Hcg has plateaued at ~450. What are my options now? Do I just have to wait until I get my period? How long does it normally take? Are there any other options to safely speed up the process and allow us to begin trying again as quickly as possible? What tests can/should I have to make sure there is nothing obvious wrong with me? This is my first pregnancy (and the first month of trying)and I am 29 (and very nervous and sad). Thanks.
