semen while TTC

2 questions:

1) Some of the semen leaks out, so I wipe it away.. is that OK? I figure if it leaks out it's not going back in, right?

2) Also, do I have to lay on my BACK, or is it ok if I'm horizontal in any position, ie, on my stomach or side?

Please answer both questions- it's been 4 months TTC, and I hope I'm doing all I can.
