Hello Michele, The OPK works by detecting the peak level of lutienising hormone in your urine. Depending upon the brand, it usually staes in the paperwork that you will probably ovulate between 12 and 24 hours later (i think). Probably will ovulate very soon. It is better to have intercourse before ovulation. The sperm will be sucked up into the cervix and to the egg at ovulation. My advise is just relax and do what comes naturally. I stressed and used opk's for a few months with no avail. I got pregnant the month I just had fuin!, sadly I miscarried. However, I just found out that I am pregnant again, in a month where I didn't do OPK etc. I believe these tools are very good if you have problems concieving, but if like when I used opk'syou are only just starting out you may just add to a stressful situation.
