Re: Baby born missing a handFrom: Louise (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 30 Sep 2001 15:23:23 -0500 (CDT)
Dear Sarah, It is hard to know how to respond; a card and present always helps! Your friend will adjust. I am a teacher and in my class I have a lovely boy called Hayden, aged ten, who is a second generation thalidomide victim with no right hand. He's an absolute delight and an inspiration. He brings out the best in everyone and always has a sunny smile on his face. Everyone loves him.
