3 losses with few answersFrom: Jennifer (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 25 Sep 2001 10:51:32 -0500 (CDT)
I am preparing for my 5th pregnancy and am really stressed. I had a son born over 5 years ago with a defective left ventrical and passed away 12 days after birth. My second pregnancy ended with a fetal demise at 30 weeks. An ultrasound at 20 weeks showed a healthy heart and other organs in good shape. All chromosome tests were normal. It was written off as maybe a cord accident. My third pregnancy ended with a healthy son who is now 18 months. About six weeks ago, my fourth pregnancy ended with a demise at 10 weeks. Again, all chromosome tests and immune disorder tests provided no answers. My doctor is thinking about using Heprin even though the tests were negative, but I think there may be another answer out there. Any help is greatly appreciated.
