Joanne,

I had a TERRIBLE rash the last few days of my first pregnancy. I had it everywhere except my face, but I have talked to other women who had it on their faces. It was extremely itchy and bumpy and the only relief I got was scratching until the bumps bled . . . that's how bad it was! :-( All my doctor's were able to tell me was that it was a "rash of pregnancy" and that it would eventually go away and it did. I took Aveeno oatmeal baths (helped a little) and was prescribed MANY anti-itch creams. I also took Bendryl tablets, however, I didn't use any pills or creams until AFTER my son was born. Try the oatmeal baths, but unfortunately you may just have to wait it out.

Good luck! JL At Sun, 23 Sep 2001, William F. von Almen, II, MD, FACOG wrote: >
