13 wks and Braxton HicksFrom: Shelly (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 20 Sep 2001 10:03:42 -0500 (CDT)
After strong Braxton Hicks, my last pregnancy ended me up in the hospital at 32 weeks effaced, dilating and contracting (what I thought were Braxton Hicks had been really pushing down and contracting). I was int he hospital for 4 weeks and went into labor "again" and delivered at 36 weeks. I am now 13 weeks pregnant and started to feel tightening similar to Braxton Hisks last night. Am I majorly high risk now, am I gonna have to be on bedrest for like 5 months, am I going to lose this baby since this is so early? What could be causing this? Could it be normal? (As an aside, yesterday was an extremely hectic day, had to run and take my 1 yr old to the hospital for a broken arm and was stressed and a bit dehydrated in the process). Thanks, Shelly
