Hello, I had a very very slight amount of spotting at 7 wks pg - my CM was tinted with a little bit of brown mixed in with the clear- no red or pink. This was evident for two trips to the bathroom in an afternoon, and a slight bit the next morning. If I hadn't looked at the toilet paper I never would have noticed it - too faint to even make a stain on my skivvies. An ultrasound found a 12 mm fetus with a heartrate of 150 - consistant with 7 wks, 3 days pg (my due date was made 3 days sooner!). Is this a normal heartrate? Are my chances of miscarriage higher because of the spotting? Are there any universally accepted rates of miscarriage once you see the hb? I've read conflicting information about brown spotting as a portent of miscarriage and of course I'm freaking out. I had a prior uncomplicated pg in 1998. Many many thanks to the doctors and nurses who respond to all these posts.
