Fetal Growth -- Large Baby?

At 32 weeks 4 days, Level I to check growth: measurements of 34 weeks 3 days, 35 weeks 4 days and most alarmingly 36 weeks 6 days for head and one other 36 week measurement. Conception date conception fairly certain as cycles are regular. Tech said "normal" limits are usually within 2 weeks and I seem to be coming in at 2.5 weeks (head seems more than that though).

Tech said machine was new and sonos were taking longer, as they were not used to the machine. Initially, the head measurement was coming up 37 weeks -- I almost jumped off the table. My sonos have been running a week ahead of my dates (last one was 4 weeks ago) but this seems crazy. I have watched blood sugars this whole pregnancy (fingersticks 5 - 7 times a day) (i have had glucose intolerance pre-pregnancy) but my #'s have been very good (usually no higher than 135 after first hour, more often below 120 but sometimes spiking to 150+ after lunch) -- in fact this last trimester my fastings have stayed below 90. I did not have GTT cause I do fingersticks but my glyco hemoglobin came back normal 3 weeks ago. "High normal" but normal. My last pregnancy (second preg after loss at 22 weeks due to bleeding) baby weighed 8 lbs 13 oz (cusp of macrosomia) vaginal delivery after 8 hours of labor at 40 weeks 4 days.

Is it possible that with this new machine these #'s are not as reliable due to tech error? Can my blood sugars be causing such growth? How often should additional sonos be performed? Is it likely I will be induced or better to just skip right to C-section at 37 weeks? Thank you for any information you can share.
