I don't think it matters when it's done, glucose levels are glucose levels. I believe it is generally done later, around 28 weeks, because that is when the natural insulin intolerance of pregnancy starts really asserting itself. I had mine done around 16 weeks, because I was insulin resistant going into the pregnancy, and unfortunately, I have developed gestational diabetes. Good luck on your test :)
