I had to terminate a pregnancy at 15.5 weeks by a D&C procedure five years ago. It was done professionally under general anesthetic. I had no complications or problems since. Now 5 years later, I am pg. again-almost 14 weeks. Is it likely that I will encounter an incompetent cervix because of my history? I am nervous about that and want my baby so badly. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
