Is my OB supposed to be checking HCG levels on a regular basis? I'm 26 dpo and went for my first prenatal visit the other day- doc got a bunch of bloodwork (I'm assuming that included baseline HCG), but no mention of returning to check HCG levels 2 days later. The only thing he scheduled was an ultrasound for next week- should I ask for repeat HCG as well?
