Thrush is a yeast infection in your baby's mouth, which is passed to the
baby during childbirth. Thrush is not dangerous, but it can be very
difficult to get cleared up, and if you're breastfeeding, your baby can
pass it onto your nipples, which makes breastfeeding extremely painful.
You and your baby can pass it back and forth for a long time before
getting rid of it.
After dealing with this with my first baby, I would STRONGLY encourage
you to get it cleared up before the baby comes. Thrush on the nipples
is really yucky.
