Joy, I think it is different for everybody. I have very irregular cycles and we tried almost 2 years for our first. With the second it took 2 months. On the other hand, my BIL and SIL conceived their first within a few months but it took them 5 years and IVF to get #2 and #3 (twins). Then after all that effort, they ended up having baby #4 completely by accident. My only advice is read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility." It helped us.
