'hcg'- answers ?? or always a mystery ??

Hi, i would like to know how it's possible to have two postive urine tests (different brands), and one negative blood test from samples taken all on the same day, assuming there were no errors with any tests ??? This happened to me and the only theory i can come up with is that my miscarriage happened days before the tests and that the concentration of hcg must linger longer in urine than it does blood .Can that be it , or is there another reason for it ? I need to know how this is possible as i hear it happens alot and may even happen to me again , so any info would be appreciated greatly. Thankyou !!
