It will be two weeks on Monday since I stopped breastfeeding. My daughter is almost 5 months old. Four days after I stopped I had some pink spotting in the morning. I thought it was my period, but then it stopped - it only lasted a few hours. Today I woke up with some spotting - this is the fourth day in a row that I am having this spotting (started Wednesday). It so far has been extremely light and only happens a couple of times during the day. What is the likely explanation for this? I had a normal pelvic exam and pap smear a couple of months ago. I am 31, and this is my second child.
