worry wartFrom: Erika (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 31 Aug 2001 16:45:32 -0500 (CDT)
quick history, 9 months ago had dx lap for ruptured hemorrhagic cyst, md ran the dye through tubes at that time also. Everything was fine except one blocked tube from torsion. 1 month after that I started having brown watery thin discharge at the end of menstrual cycle and on days 10-14, went back to md who stated she was not surprised due to hx of cysts. Did not worry about it until now. I am 10 wks pregnant now, but that pattern of discharge was present consistenly every cycle until I got pregnant and now I have not had any abnormal discharge at all. A friend of mine was just dx with endometrial ca in her 30's and after reading about it and the symptoms it has scared me to death especially since I am now pregnant and they couldn't do a bx now. So, I am looking for some reassurance. I have had 3 transvaginal ultrasounds, normal pap, normal ct scan during all of this. Would the brown/bloody discharge continue even if I was pregnant it it was cancer? Do I need to be worried? Thanks so much- you all are awesome to give us your time!!!!!!!!!!
