I'm wondering if anyone knows of a place I can ask questions regarding the kinds of things that can affect a man's sperm, or if maybe one of the doctors might know the answer to this. My husband had interferon treatments 4 years ago for Hepatitis C, and we are currently ttc. We conceived 9 months ago, but lost the baby due to chromosome problems. I'm just wanting to find out if there is any long-term affect on sperm from interferon tx that maybe our doctors neglected to mention. I ask this because there is a new treatment for HepC which is a combo treatment with Peg, and they make it very clear that you cannot be trying to concieve while on the treatment, but no one ever mentioned anything about the interferon tx alone being a problem. Any insight or references welcome. Thanks.
