Second half of cycleFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 30 Aug 2001 22:51:12 -0500 (CDT)
Forgive me if this is a repeat - I am having trouble searching the archives. I am ttc. My last period lasted about 31 days, if you count by when I started seeing normal bleeding instead of spotting. OPK indicated I had a surge on day 16 of cycle. All sounds normal to me, except that I started spotting very faintly for 6 days before normal flow began. I had a progesterone test 7 days post suspected ovulation and the level was 10. Doctor isn't convinced that means ovualtion is occuring. This cycle I am spotting early again. Two questions: 1. Does it sound likely that I am ovulating, given the progesterone and OPK data? 2. If I am ovulating, should I be concerned about the early spotting? I am worried that the second half of my cycle isn't long enought to sustain pregnancy. Thank you in advance!
