Reply: While I do understand that some vitamins are water soluable, I also understand that our bodies do absorb a lot of vitamins from the vitamin suppliments we take. Not only that, but the foods in our society are so overprocessed, picked early, preserved and poisoned, that there's very little food value in them. I would have to disagree with you on the point you made about women needing folic acid and nothing else during pregnancy. Yes, I know we need it, but I also know that we need a LOT more other vitamins/minerals as well, and iron, too. Even if I hadn't seen the studies, I would know from personal experience that taking vitamins works for me personally, because I feel so much better when I'm taking them. And yes, I'm eating my spinach.... <wink wink> ~~Kristy B.
