I'm a healthy and slim 27 year old (non smoker). 2 years ago after a flight to Vienna from Sydney I got a blood clot in my deep iliac vein. I was on Heparin for a while and have been on asprin since. I stopped taking it about 2 weeks ago because I'm pregnant (6 weeks). I am concerened that it will happen again only this time it might end up being more complicated and life threatning to me or the baby. What can I do? The dodctor has advised me to keep taking my baby asprins (100's) but I need a second opinion. Can this harm my baby? Is there anything elese I can take or do? I still wear my presurre stocking, is that safe to do? -- Thanks A.
