Are you going to an RE or an OB/Gyn? If you are not with an RE, I would suggest that you start going to one. Most RE's offices are open 7 days a week b/c not everyone ovulates on a weekday. Plus, they have the more expertise in fertility than a regular Gyno. If you don't have one, go to the American Infertility website and they will recommend one in your area. I am not a doctor, but having done IUI's, I know that they time them either by your own lh surge or by giving you an hcg shot. This way they know approximately when you will ovulate. If they go by your own surge, I believe that they will do it the next day. It sounds like you are doing it too early.
