'finicky' varicose veinsFrom: Kristy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 21 Aug 2001 13:47:20 -0500 (CDT)
The varicose veins I have in my left leg are BAD NEWS! They are huge - came on quite suddenly, and are really puffy and bumpy. But they seem "finicky". What I mean is, some days they hurt so bad that it feels like someone is stabbing me with a hot knife with each step I take and I have to wrap them. I can hardly walk. But then there's days like yesterday when they don't hurt - nope, not even a tiny bit - ALL day. And I was on my feet all day yesterday shopping. [even though they didn't hurt yesterday, they still bulged terribly]. Is it common for varicose veins to hurt on some days and not on others? If so, please explain why they don't hurt *all* the time. {not that I'm complaining about having some good days!} :o) Love, Kristy
