I hate having to ask this question- but I have searched thru the archives for a while and am still questioning going to the emergency room. I have had intense lower back pains all morning and about 2 hours ago I had some questionable discharge. I apologize for being explicit, but here goes... The mucous was extremely thick, very stretchy, white with a slight yellow tinge, odorless and dime size. I know it is normal to have discharge during pregnancy, but I do not remember having anything quite so thick when pregnant with my son. Could this be a mucous plug? Should I go to the doctor? My doctor's office still has not returned my phone call. Also, I am currently 13 weeks pregnant. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
