I took a hpt and got a positive on July 30. I had a quantitative done August 2 (31 days after 1st day of last period) and got 138 for hcg and 20.1 for progesterone. One week later I went back and had another lab run and my hcg came back over 850 and my progesterone fell to 11. My Dr. put me on progesterone capsules 100mg 2 times a day and tomorrow they are going to do another lab to test the levels again. I'm very concerned as I had a m/c in April at 6 weeks followed by a D&C and the pathology report came back that nothing was wrong with the fetus. I really don't know what my question is except should I be concerned that I may m/c again because my body doesn't produce enough progesterone or could there be another reason for my misfortune?
