Hope this is reassuring: I had three healthy pregnancies and in each of them symptoms were very different. With my daughter I had no symptoms whatsoever and didn't even know I was pregnant until I was about 11 weeks. In another pregnancy I didn't really start getting noticeable symptoms until about 7-8 weeks, athough about that time they hit pretty hard. Many other women here will tell you that symptoms can be all over the map. If your travel plans are flexible and you do end up with severe symptoms, you might want to wait until your 12-13th week to travel just so you can enjoy it more. On the other hand travel with your doctor's approval would be a great way to keep your mind off the anxieties that tend to plauge the first trimester of waiting and wondering.Good luck!
