10w pp and preggo again with IC....am I in trouble? Reply: William F. von Almen, II, MD, FACOG: "Re: 10w pp and preggo again with IC....am I in trouble?" Just a brief on my OB history....I have had 2 losses at 18 1/2 and 16 1/2 weeks due to IC. I just gave birth 10 weeks ago to my cerclage baby who was born at 36 weeks (after cerclage removal). I was a little concerned because I haven't had a period so I tested for my peace of mind and it came back positive. DH and I were using birth control and are really not ready to go through another pregnancy again so soon. I feel like this is probably not a good thing...especially with my history, and I am afraid. I was wondering if my chances of a favorable outcome are just as good or less this time since my cervix hasn't had time to completely heal? I would appreciate your opinion.
