How early in pregnancy do you get (if at all) the purple skin outside the vagina? Is it normal to get it with a period too? Or just pregnancy?

I noticed today that my skin outside my vagina and surrounding it is purple and usually isn't-not even with a period. I ovulated 7 days ago and made love w/my honey. We are ttc.
