LL, I also live close to TJ (closer than you, in fact, I live in San Diego) and I am also about to start Pergonal. How do you know that the Pergonal in Mexico is safe, or contains the same amount of whatever it needs? The stuff is crazy expensive!!! and we're trying to figure out a way to afford it. I hear all these horror stories of people who buy antibiotics and other stuff down there and all these horrible things happen. On the other hand, I know a lot of people who get a lot of medical work done there (like dentists) and they are fine. I would be interested to hear if you have heard whether or not this is a safe idea. BTW, the reason why drugs are so much more expensive in the US is because drugs go through a very strict screening process here in order to be passed by the FDA, like 4 phases of clinical studies by the pharmaceutical company before it even goes to the FDA. My husband works in the pharmaceutical testing field and companies spend billions to pass drugs.
