tiny subchorionic or implantation hemorrhage

At 10 weeks of pregnancy, I had some very very light spotting. I went to have an ultrasound and it showed a tiny (20mm by 5mm) implantation or subchorionic hemorrhage. I'm now 11 weeks, 4 days. I want to know what this is, and how one can monitor it. I've had almost no spotting (if I do its very very light) but I did have cramps all throughout my 10th week and into the 11th (lower abdominal). How likely is it that the hemorrhage will disappear? How likely is it to cause me to miscarry? How will I know if it has gotten bigger, or if it has disappeared? Does the cramping have anything to do with it? Do I have a better chance of maintaining the pregnancy now that I'm further along?

Thank you.
