19 wks U/S shows strawberry-shaped skull, no other abnormal findings.From: Linda (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 4 Aug 2001 10:25:25 -0500 (CDT)
I am 43. Level 2 u/s shows perfect little girl except for shape of skull. Strawberry shaped. No other obvious abnormalacies. Dr. states could be either nothing or trisomy 18 as she knows of no other defect with this shape of skull. Awaiting amnio results. I have not been able to find anything about skull shape. Is it possible to have a strawberry shaped skull and still be normal? Thank you for any info.
