I am currently dealing with a bladder infection, have pain when urination and a headache. I have some upper abdominal pain that feels like gas pains. My lower portion of my abdomen is still tender post c-section (12 days). Can a urinary tract infection lead to a uterine infection. How would I know if I am dealing with a uterine infection. I called my dr. (the one on-call) and he gave me something for the uti but didn't seemed concerned about anything else. I don't want to impair my fertility in any way.
