I'm very sorry for your loss. Been there, done that so I know how you and your husband are feeling. Most docs will tell you to wait one cycle before trying again so that if you conceive you'll have an idea of how far along you are. Also, I think D&Cs are a little harder on the uterus than if you passed it naturally so he or she may want you to wait one cycle for that reason as well. You didn't mention how far along you were. The duration of your pregnancy may also be a factor. I was eight weeks along but I passed it naturally. Beyond those reasons, some people wait to try because they aren't emotionally ready. However, it sounds as though you are, so best of luck to you and don't give up hope.
