clmoidFrom: Meredith (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 1 Aug 2001 14:30:36 -0500 (CDT)
I have been on clomid for 2 months... both months I got my period (which I do not usually get at all without provera). Both months my period came with extremely bad cramps and nausea (debilitating enough that I couldn't go to work)... this month I even had a temperature of 101. Is this normal? Is the fever related to the clomid? Naproxen Sodium really helps the cramps in about 1.5 hours. The problem is, because I am trying to get pregnant I don't want to take the naproxen until I know I'm not pregnant (in other word until my period actually arrives). This often occurs hours after the cramps begin. Next month, can I take the naproxen before I actually bleed to rid myself of the cramps... if am pregnant, would this cause any harm? I take 1 550Mg tablet. The cramps are unbearable, but I obviouslly don't want to hurt the baby if I am pregnant. Thank you so much. I really do appreciate your time.
